Redwood Ramble Coastal Experience Tour

Service Description

Beat the heat of summer inland! This is a camping-based tour. The Redwood Ramble Coastal Escape Tour originates in Eugene Oregon. Return travel to Eugene on the final day of the tour is included. The tour is 5 days of tranquil coastal mountain and coastal road cycling in Oregon and Northern California. The final cycling day includes riding Howland Hill Road in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. The last day is a leisurely breakfast and redwood hike. This route is for you if you love coastal vistas, hill climbing, and hiking amongst the Redwood Giants. Six days total. Monday to Saturday. Expect to arrive back in Eugene on Saturday between 3-4pm. Tour highlights include Coastal Mountains, Oregon coastline, Oregon Dunes, Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor, Arch Rock, Natural Bridges, Harris Beach State Park, and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park with hikes in the Grove of the Titans and the Stout Grove, and so much more as we venture down to coast to the finale of experiencing the Giant Sequoias. Participants should have previous multi-day cycling experience and be comfortable riding 4-8 hours per day for 5 consecutive days. Daily rides range from 42-68 miles (67-109 km). The most challenging climbing day contains 4,405 ft (1,343 m) of cumulative elevation gain. We have carefully designed the tour with support stops that allow a rider to opt out of a portion of the hill climbing and/or route distance depending upon an individual rider’s preference.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of $500 is required at time of booking to secure space. $250 of the deposit is a nonrefundable fee. Full payment is required 90 days before departure date. If you decide to cancel your trip, written notice is required. The following fees apply: 91+ days prior to departure = $250 61 to 90 days = $500 31 to 60 days prior to departure = 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable 0 to 30 days prior to departure = 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable Summit Cycling Adventures LLC reserves the right to cancel all or a portion of a trip for force majeure or any other circumstances beyond our control, and, in the event of such cancellation, full or partial refunds, if any, will be at Summit Cycling Adventures LLC sole discretion. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip if sign-up is inadequate to make the trip economically feasible for us to operate, and in this event, we will give a full refund of the trip price. However, Summit Cycling Adventures LLC is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip (e.g., nonrefundable air tickets, visa fees if applicable, gear or medical expenses).
